The following things are totally, utterly, and completly wrong right now:

• SSL handling - specifically, it's actually technically correct, but we disable it by default because we can't trust the certificates to exist!

• Patchset ordering - this is actually surprisingly important to get right, so for now I'm leaving it to oldworld to deal with.... fundamentally it's kinda an orchestraiton problem!
